Be Part of the Family at Bella Napoli

Bella Napoli means beautiful in Italian, and that is how you will feel upon
entering Bella Napoli in Bloomfield. Bella Napoli is family owned by Jerry
Siconolfi and his family. Sal Siconolfi is the gracious host, and when you enter
he will make you feel immediately like part of the family, prepare yourself for
some real Italian dining. Their menu is impressive, it starts with a selection
of 18 hot and cold appetizer selections, 4 soups and 12 salads. What better way
to start a meal than with a piping hot bowl of homemade minestrone soup and an
arugula salad. Or you can be a little more daring and try a scungilli salad
which is marinated in garlic, oil, vinegar and herbs and spices. No matter what
you choose, you will not be disappointed.
Next for your dinner entrée you have an even larger choice, you may choose from
15 seafood dishes, 13 veal dishes, 22 types of pasta, 7 poultry dishes and
finally 5 steak dishes. Whew.. One of my favorites is the Zuppa di Pesce, which
is sure to satisfy all seafood lovers, it is a delicious combination of clams,
mussels, shrimp, scungilli, scallops, lobster tail, filet of sole, snapper and
calamari all cooked in a rich tomato broth touched with garlic and herbs.
If you want to try something special, try the chicken marsala, succulent chicken
breasts sautéed in a marsala wine sauce with mushrooms. The sauce is slightly
sweet, slightly buttery and 100% delicious. Beef lovers fear not, you are in
good hands in Bella Napoli. An excellent choice would be steak pizzaiola which
is a steak sautéed to perfection and then served with a rich tomato marinara
type sauce - Once you try this you will throw that bottle of brown steak sauce
away!! You may want to have pasta, and once again at Bella Napoli you are
spoiled for choice. You can never go wrong with a traditional plate of spaghetti
and meatballs and these are some of the best.
Of course you must have wine with an Italian meal and the wine menu is quite
extensive with many varieties of red, white, premium reds and whites, a good
selection of bubbly, and two special "super Tuscans" for that special occasion.
But wait the meal is not over yet, you can have dessert too, a rich tiramisu or
a bowl of gelato and an espresso is for me the perfect end to an Italian meal.
No matter what you end up choosing at Bella Napoli you will be pleased.
Everything is prepared carefully and with Love, that special ingredient that is
all too often so hard to find, and which makes all the difference.
Bella Napoli also offers special holiday menus, as well as on and off premise
catering, for parties.
In addition, every Monday and Tuesday you are invited to join the fabulous three
course steak fest for only $14.95. Also every Tuesday is martini night with $5
Martinis from 6pm till close.
