Our Favorite Christmas Cookies
Ingredients
3 c. Flour
1/2 tsp. Baking Powder
Pinch of Salt
1 c. Margarine
1/2 c. Sugar
1 Egg
2 tsp. Vanilla
Sprinkles, Coloring, etc.
1. Cream margarine and and sugar; add egg and vanilla.
2. Sift flour, baking powder, and salt together.
3. Add to liquid mixture and mix together by hand. (Do not
use mixer otherwise dough will be stiff). The dough can
be refrigerated or rolled at this point.
4. Roll dough on floured cloth or board to approximately 1/4
inch thick. Do not grease pan.
5. Cut into desired shapes or spoon on pan.
6. Decorations optional.
7. Bake at 325 degrees till lightly browned, 8 to 10 minutes.
